Description click to view larger image The T71 Programmable Head Transmitter is a two-wire transmitter with a 4-20mA analog output. It has measurement input for resistance thermometers (RTDs) in 2-, 3- or 4-wire connections, thermocouples, and voltage signals. Setup is done using the communication cable. This transmitter is available with or without a digital display, and can be mounted in a direct or remote general-purpose aluminum screw-cover housing. Certain configurations are specified with CSA-rated Intrinsically Safe and Explosion-Proof approvals for Hazardous Locations. These small units can be mounted in Pyromation DIN (Form B) connection heads or they can be surface mounted using 35 mm DIN rail mounting clips. The T72 adds HART communication. This model can be programmed with a PC or HART® protocol hand-held terminal. There is also an optional Bluetooth® configuration.
