Introducing the Pulsar Wildlife Ventex XT50 Thermal Imaging Binoculars, the first pair of thermal imaging binoculars from Pulsar Wildlife to feature a 1280×1024, 12µm, <20mK sNETD HD thermal sensor. This sensor, combined with a powerful 50mm f1.0 objective lens and lossless pixel transfer, will achieve levels of image clarity that need to be seen to be believed and long-range detection capabilities that can reveal even the smallest heat source at distances reaching up to 2300m! Such exceptional levels of image clarity are achieved, in part, thanks to the Ventex XT50’s minimal image compression — transmitting a thermal image to the bino’s display with almost no loss of detail and resulting in superb image quality with minimal noise. The Ventex XT50 will even retain excellent image detail all the way through its 2.0-16.0 x magnification range, so you can closely inspect an object of interest with minimal loss of detail. The Pulsar Wildlife Ventex XT50 Thermal Imaging Binoculars offers a 17.5° field of view that is unmatched by any other thermal imaging binoculars, significantly expanding the observation area and reducing the need to search and scan whilst in the field. This incredibly wide FOV is achieved thanks to the unrivalled combination of HD sensor and powerful objective lens — proof that you just can’t beat European engineering. For the first time in any Pulsar device, the Ventex XT50 introduces image stabilisation to the product range. A crucial feature when tracking fast-moving subjects in the field, image stabilisation eliminates camera shake and motion blur, allowing you to focus on the task at hand without worrying about distractions. With a built-in precision laser rangefinder, you can gauge accurate distance measurements between you and your observed object, allowing you to keep a safe distance and plot your movements without any unnecessary disturbances. The Ventex XT50 is the first device from Pulsar to feature an extended 1500m distance measurement range, with an accuracy of ±1m. These measurements can be taken in single steps or in continuous scanning mode. When it comes to comfortable viewing, two eyes are always better than one, which is why these thermal binoculars feature stunning 1280×960 twin HD AMOLED displays, designed to reveal every detail whilst reducing eye fatigue. And it isn’t just comfortable on the eyes. The Ventex XT50 features an ergonomically designed bodyshell that retains the classic aesthetics of a pair of traditional binoculars, lending a sense of familiarity in the hand and ensuring you remain just as comfortable by the end of your observation as you were at the start. The bodyshell has been constructed using durable magnesium alloy designed to withstand all the knocks, bumps, scrapes, and tumbles one would expect during strenuous observations in the field. Further protection is provided through the IPX7 rating, which protects against dust- and moisture ingress — meaning they will remain unimpeded by adverse weather conditions and even survive a drop into water. Plus, for those venturing into unforgiving climates, the Ventex XT50 remains guarded against extreme temperatures ranging from -25 to 50°C. An advanced dual battery system features a built in, rechargeable Li-Ion battery and a replaceable, rechargeable APS3 battery providing up to 8 hours of battery life, allowing you to continue your observations through the day and into the night. Eight colour palettes enable effective observation of the field of view, each of which allow the user to optimise the device for specific scenarios and adapt to changing conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are perfect for object detection Rainbow and Ultramarine will increase recognition and identification capabilities Sepia, Red Monochrome, and Violet are best for long, night-time observation. Built-in video recording (with audio) and still image capture capabilities, the Ventex XT50 ensures you never miss a memorable moment during your observations. Plus, with new image stabilisation technology built-in, your videos will be free from camera shake and motion blur, meaning you trust that, when you closely inspect any videos captured at a later date, they’ll be clear as day. Images and videos captured on the device can be stored on the device’s generous 64GB internal memory or onto the Cloud via the Wild Vision app. Connect the Ventex to the NEW Wild Vision app from Pulsar Wildlife via an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and discover a wide range of connectivity features, including: The ability to use your mobile phone or tablet as a wireless remote to control and adjust the device’s settings, with all the changes made on your device’s screen visible in real-time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or capturing of still images. A gallery of photos and videos captured on the device that can be browsed through and downloaded. These videos and images can also be shared easily. The ability to remotely update the device’s firmware, meaning users can enjoy all the latest features and ensure the Ventex XT50 is always running to the best of its ability.
