An extremely popular series of 12 variations by Ronald Read on the well known ‘Happy Birthday’ theme. Each variation is in a distinctive classical or popular style. The final variation is a ‘Fughetta’ with a surprise ending. All parts are of medium difficulty, although there is a ‘cello cadenza that might require a little practice.
