Description click to view larger image The MTO106 transformer ohmmeter is an easy-to-use instrument for safe and accurate measurement of winding resistance in distribution transformers, reactors, instrument transformers, motors, and generators. It can also be used to check wiring and all types of connections. The test current can be manually set in five different ranges to fit transformers of various sizes. A single switch selects test current and a single button activates the test cycle. The instrument is supplied with test leads fitted with Kelvin clamps. The test leads are 10 m (33 ft) in length to allow for easy testing of pole-mounted transformers. An automatic discharge function de-energizes the transformer winding at the end of every test.
