Nyloc (nylon insert locking nuts,) provide a strong lock when tightened which will resist vibration or shock. They can be used with any metric machine screw or bolt of the corresponding size. Made to conform to DIN 985 (ISO 10512.) This set contains a selection of of M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 (3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm & 8mm thread diameter) nuts. A2-70 stainless steel, also known as 304 or 18/8 grade has great weather resistance and longevity. It can be used in all outdoor conditions apart from where consistent exposure to either salt water or sewerage is expected.
