Description The Rocket Steam Locomotive Blackwork Embroidery Kit or Pattern The Rocket Steam Locomotive Blackwork Embroidery Kit or Pattern is part of a collection of Steam Locomotive designs I am designing with my Steam Engine loving Dad.  The others in the set include Catch-Me-Who-Can,  The Puffing Billy, The Wylam Dilly, Locomotion No. 1, Castle Class and Clun Castle Steam Locomotive. The Rocket was designed and built by Robert Stephenson in 1829.  It was the first engine design to bring together several innovations to produce the most advanced locomotive of its day.  It’s design became the template fot most steam engines in the next 150 years. My Dad has proof stitched each of the engine patterns for me. This design is ideal for anyone, from a beginner to an expert in any counted embroidery technique. Apart from a sewing frame/hoop and scissors, this kit is ready to use as soon as you receive it in the post. Finished Size 175 x 84 stitches on 28 count evenweave or 14 count aida. Approx 32cm x 15cm / 12.5 x 6 inches. Contents of Complete Kit A full list of instructions including a colour pattern of the Outline and Fill patterns. Fabric: 28 count white cotton evenweave or 14 count white Cotton Aida by Fabric Flair. Size: Approx. 43cm x 25.5cm (17 x 10 inches) (This gives a 2 inch border of fabric around the edge for framing.)
